Kim and Tim- We built the Doggie BNB the way we would want our paw family to be taken care of while we are away. After years of bad house sitter situations, Barking Dog Kennel closing we decided the community of VIP (like our Pups) needed a home away from home, to board while we are away!!! Kim has been around animals entire life. Always a dog, cats and horses by her side!! The dog family has flown over 40 times and even been to Mexico!! Kim and Tim both have owned and ran horse riding rentals in WA and in HI. Kim has also helped run a bull riding practice pen in WA state. Kim has been in Hawaii since 2008 and Tim has been in Hawaii since 1974, Big Island since 1982 in the restaurant industry both in Hawaii and AK.  Kim has worked in the past in a veterinary office. Now with Tim retiring from the restaurant industry we have decided to dedicate our time to Puppy play!! 

Aloha Dog Lodge is limited to 4 individual kennels at a time. Ohana families can share a kennel with a discount for 2nd dogs (or 3 to how many your family has) We screen all dogs to be a positive stay and they would get along with others. If your dog needs separate play and no interaction with others that can be done also. Sadly we do have to say No at times if we feel your pup isn’t a good fit with others at that time. We are building a pretty incredible dog pack that are wonderful and look forward to meeting more to join!
